The Apprentice

The new season of The Apprentice is starting this weekend and it looks like Yahoo! is again providing the official site. I don’t watch the show religiously, but I tend to watch it with my wife, if nothing else to make sure the HotJobs ad shows up at the end when the loser gets in a taxi cab. Best Bowl Game of the Year

Last night the Boise State Broncos delivered by far the best bowl game of the season, defeating the Oklahoma Sooners 43-42 in overtime. If you just read the headlines summarizing the game, they really didn’t do it justice. Boise State clearly outplayed Oklahoma and led almost the entire game. Jeremy Stone on Yahoo! Sports has a good column summarizing the game: A 43-42 overtime win over Big 12 champion Oklahoma would have been enough to satisfy even the pickiest Bronco fan. Welcome 2007!

It looks like 2007 is finally here. With the new year comes the tradition of resolutions, top 10 lists from 2006 and so on. I’ve never been much of a “resolutions” person, not wanting to disappoint myself too often! Shuttle Mission STS-116 Lands in Florida

Shuttle mission STS-116 landed in Florida almost an hour ago at 5:32pm EST. The NASA landing blog said the flight covered 5.3 million miles, orbited the Earth 204 times, and lasted just under 12 days, 21 hours.
