It looks like my list of PDA optimized (or PDA friendly) web sites is becoming quite popular and is now the most-requested page from this site. Thanks to some mentions on Palm, Treo, and Sony discussion groups, a lot of people seem to have found it. I’m also the number one hit for “PDA Optimized” on Google which is kind of cool. For some unknown reason Google is also showing some of my pages with my IP address rather than domain name. I’ll need to figure out where that’s coming from. Having recently moved from CityDesk to Movable Type, I captured some notes on the technique I used to move my weblog entries over.
At the risk of hanging on the Christmas look for too long, I changed back to a default style (Gettysburg). The default Movable Type styles are a good starting point, but I really would like to come up with my own design. All in time I suppose. Just for grins, here’s a screenshot of the Christmas theme: CantoniOrgXmas (PNG, 46 KB).
While making the transition to Movable Type, one of the decisions I spent a lot of time on was the best archive type. I settled on archiving individual archives by date and modified all of the templates to work accordingly.
Thanks to CSS and some free Christmas backgrounds, Cantoni.org is now sporting a new holiday theme!
