Today we headed to Las Vegas for this weekend’s NASCAR Busch and Nextel Cup races! I didn’t score any garage passes that we were lucky to have last year in Phoenix, so we’ll be “slumming” it with everyone else. No matter — the weather is supposed to be in the 80’s and after all, it is in Vegas, so we won’t complain.
The trip got off to a rocky start last night when I couldn’t http://www.ourhealthissues.com/ find the race tickets for the 4 of us. After spending hours looking for them, we convinced ourselves that maybe we never received them in the mail. Luckily Grace found the missing UPS envelope early this morning and life was good again!
As I post this now, we’re hanging out at the Venetian watching a little basketball on the TV — might need to go check out the sports book soon.
